non-label related updates: we came across a very interesting javascript which calculates the cost of the war in iraq (based on estimates from the congressional budget office).  you can find it on the bottom of this page.

Chris Saathoff, bass player for Chin Up Chin Up, was killed by a car last Saturday morning after leaving the Empty Bottle in Chicago.  It is so difficult to know how to process this kind of tragic information.  All I can say is that Chris was one of the nicest people I had the opportunity to get to know - and he will not be forgotten. -adam

hey folks thank you so much if you came to the show last saturday, it was a great 
success.  thanks to the indigo district for housing us the staff was so helpful.  thank
you to the bands that all played really good sets.  thank you for those of you who 
bought comps from us  really thank everyone.

we have posted a link to an interview with former U.S. ambassador, Joseph Wilson 
as it appeared on Democracy Now.  We feel that this interview succinctly 
contextualizes the manner  in which the bush administration's dogmatic 
U.S. patriotism covers up political intentions which have little, if anything,
to do with national security.

the comp is finally out!! 
we are sending it to aam sunday service for distribution. 
wanted to thank everyone involved  and anyone who put even the
smallest amount of work into the project

The comp is out in record stores in portland at ozone and music millenium 
and in eugene at house of records, face the music and feinstein's muesum of 
unfine art

Bush's approval rating is down to 47%  let's hope that it keeps coming down 
so that we can remove ourselves from this radically aggressive mono-polar terror
smoke-out of the third world and go back to the happier US controlled global 
economic strangle hold

also proud to anounce the beginning of the first schapendoes sub label
"publishers clearinghaus" which will be a 50 pieces per release a la dragging
an ox through water packaging.   when all the hard copies are distrubuted
the release will become free on the internet for downlaod
